19/22 September 2013 theWorld/ European Outdoor Tug-of-War Championships will be held in Assen at De Bonte Wever. World Championships for juniors and Under23, European Championships  for seniors.

SIT has already set the organization in motion some time ago. Weightclasses are determined, teamentry and accreditation are open.

De Bonte Wever has hotelrooms now, not enough to host every competitor and/or supporter, but with the coöperation of Van der Valk and Witterzomer, both in or near Assen, there are no long busrides from the accommodation to the sportsvenue.

As with the previous events we have the support of Service Medical (www.servicemedical.nl), Kean-IT (www.Kean-IT.nl) and our speaker Wout de Jong.

The preparations of the field have started  and now we send a weekly prayer to appease  the weathergods.
